“ Family business where people are happy and thus service is good. I tried this dish (Kenko?) Where the main is a ball of paste made with fermented maize and goes with fried fish. Was an acquired taste but definitely worth a try even for the less adventurous because as the lady boss puts it, "Variety is the spice of life!" The fried fish was tasty and the two sauces that came (one tangy and punchy with chillies, the other savoury and deep because of shrimp) were delicious. The authentic way to eat is with your hands, so dig in (but don't touch your eyes ). They provide a bowl of water and soap to wash after. No frills, happy people, simple food - really made my day (: ”
“ The food was very good. The owners were so accommodating. When we got there they had to make a spot for us there because a large party had just arrived there. The place is very small though. The red red was amazing and huge portions. The omo tuo was moist and the groundnut soup was tasty. We had suya kebab which was seasoned well and the jerk chicken... wow the best ive have in the uk so far; actually infused with the spices. I know they are a newer restaurant so I would suggest they have more decor. I would definitely visit again; just wish it wasnt so far or small. ”
